    DOWSIL 3074 Intermediate is a versatile, solventless liquid resin designed to blend easily with organic or other silicone resins to improve coating durability. While used widely in architectural, industrial and marine sectors for its dependable hardness, DOWSIL 3074 Intermediate is also approved for food contact applications when used in compliance with FDA regulations. It can also comply with German BfR Recommendation XV. on silicone for food contact.

    DOWSIL 3074 Intermediate is highly compatible with organic resins (such as polyesters, alkyds, epoxies or acrylics) or other silicone resins, which allows copolymerization or cold-blending to meet application-specific requirements. In addition, this methoxy-functional resin does not self-condense and can thus form copolymers of more consistent quality than traditional silanol-functional resins.
